Apollo Redux
What is this spam in a can "advance" that Nasa is handing us? Have you seen their next generation space craft? It is just a four seater Apollo capsule! It looks exactly the same as the old Apollo and Comand Module set up!
If they were going to do that why did they even retire the Apollo to begin with? The could have just kept flying them and swaped out the avionics every now and then just like they do with 747's and B52's!
I am so disapointed by Nasa's lack of imagination! No wonder nobody is into the space program.
I do however have to give credit where credit is due. The NASA channel is excellent in it's coverage of Space Shuttle flights. Even when all they are showing is Mission Control. It brings me back to the days of wall to wall coverage of the Mercury and Gemini flights.

That is an amazingly insightful post. It is quite possibly the best post on a blog in the history of man kind, going way back to the eighties when they used to publish their blogs in the inside of leg warmers.. Thank you Kangoon, you are a true genius.
